	James SOUTHON James was born c1776 (ref his DC). His origins are unknown. From research by a prominent Southon researcher Iain Kerr in 1999, James may have been the son of James Southon and Ann Holland, bap 5 Jun 1776 at Tortington, Sussex OR son of William Southon and Hannah unknown, born about 1780 at Thursley, Surrey, OR some other line. Occupation: Tin Plate Worker (ref his DC); Tinsmith (from DC of his daughter Mary). Married 28 Jan 1805 at Saint Mary-St Marylebone Road, Saint Marylebone, London to Hannah SUMMERSETT (ref IGI). Hannah was born about 1779 (ref her DC) or 1784 (ref 1861 census) in Sudbury, Suffolk, England. James died 28 June 1839 at 28 William Street, registration district Saint Pancras, sub district of Regents Park (ref his DC which gives his age as 63 years).
