Bap of Ann CATCOT 29 Aug 1770 at Ashwick, Somerset, dau of Samuel Catcot. The spelling varies, as CALCOT, CATCOT, CATCOTT etc in different family records at Ashwick, Somerset.

Bap of Joseph Crew 21 Jan 1782 at Holy Trinity, High Littleton, Somerset, son of Joseph & Mary Crew (ref Ancestry Somerset baps image).

Joseph and his brother William were both blacksmiths, which suggests a family occupation. .

Married 25 June 1809 at Saint Augustine The Less, Bristol, Gloucester, England to Hannah (Anna) TAY (ref IGI record & Ancestry). (Phoebe's death certificate gives the name Anna Tay for her mother.) Baptism of Hannah Tay 15 Feb 1789 at Lyncombe and Widcombe, Somerset, dau of James Tay & Phebe (Coombs) (ref Ancestry Somerset CofE Baps image & other information.

Timsbury, High Littleton and Camerton are a few minutes apart, and are all about 10 miles from Bath, Somerset. Hannah's family came from Camerton and it would be natural for Joseph, Hannah and their family to return there.

The bap in Ancestry has "Willm S. of Joseph & Mary Crow" so they must be different versions.
