The marriage banns were read 16 Mar 1828, 23 Mar, 30 Mar, at Timsbury. The marriage was 3 Apr 1828 at St Mary Timsbury of William James of Timsbury to Ann Crew of Timsbury, witnesses Samuel Evans and Mary Ann James (from online Timsbury records). Priscilla married 9 Feb 1837 at Timsbury to John BEES, who was a tailor; witnesses were William James and Mercy Bees. In the 1841 census, Priscilla and John were living at Timsbury with their family and with an unidentified Eliza Crew, age 19 (b c1822 in Somerset). This Eliza could possibly be Jane Elizabeth, see next page. Susanna and Hester are found living together in the 1841 census aged 16 and 15, living with the family of William James, Blacksmith, and Ann (nee Crew), at Timsbury, together with other children of the couple. Hester married 13 Jul 1859 at Timsbury to Isaac KEMBERY, a farmer of Timsbury. The 1851 census of the James family shows Ann was born c1797 in Litton, Somerset, and lists Hester as William James' daughter in law [i.e. stepdaughter]. Mary and Susannah are found living together in the 1851 census; Mary Gould Crew married Sep qtr 1845 at Bath to Charles GOODENOUGH. They had children Hannah and Charles.
