There is an entry in LDS tape 476219, monumental inscriptions at Poughill, which is Saul CORNISH, Mercer, son of Alexander and Elizabeth Cornish of this parish, burd. May 9 1738 aged 43. 2.		John CORNISH Bap 28 Aug 1690 at Poughill, Cornwall (ref Cornwall OPC database; IGI and findmypast have no name). There are two John Cornishes of very similar ages in Poughill (1687 and 1690, see previous page). There are two probable burials, one on 8 Aug 1741 and one on 24 Sep 1745 but no further information is given on the burials (ref Cornwall OPC Database for both and the parish record for the second in Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 115). One of them is presumed to have married Martha Martyn; she was bap 1695 which is closer in age to the one on the next page so I have placed that marriage here. ASSUMPTION Marr 6 Aug 1719 at Poughill to Martha MARTYN (ref Cornwall OPC Database & findmypast). Martha was bap 13 May 1695, dau of Deg & Thomasine (ref Cornwall OPC Database). There is a burial of Martha Cornish 18 Oct 1757 at Poughill (ref Cornwall OPC Database & findmypast and parish record on Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 116). 		Issue of Samuel Cornish and Grace
1.		Grace CORNISH Bap 25 Jun 1709 at Poughill (ref Cornwall OPC Database; IGI & findmypast do not have the day). However another source quotes the Poughill Parish Register as "Grace CORNISH of Samuel CORNISH of Kilkhampton and Grace 15 January 1709 os" [old system, i.e. 1709/10, today 1710] (ref Eric Marshman). This would appear to be more accurate but requires further checking, as there may be more than one version of the parish register. Marr 22 May 1736 at Morwenstow, Cornwall to Lawrence ASHTON (ref FMP). He was born before 1726, died after 1749. There is a death 1764 at Sutcombe Devon of Laurence Ashton, with Probate (ref Ancestry Extracted Probate records). Lawrence born c1706, possibly in Welcombe Devon, buried 3 Feb 1764 at Bradworthy, Devon, a yeoman farmer (ref B.Chapple). Grace is mentioned with her married surname in the Will of her father in 1765. Grace died 11 May 1767 at Bradworthy, Devon, buried 13 May 1767 (ref B.Chapple).	IGI records

William was bap 28 Dec 1713 at Kilkhampton, son of Richard and Dorcos Boundie (ref IGI). William Boundy is mentioned in the Will of his father-in-law in 1765 so presumably Elizabeth had died by then. (Possibly) Married 5 Dec 1746 at Kilkhampton (as Dorcas) to John ELLIOT (ref IGI & findmypast). He was born c1712 at Kilkhampton (ref Family Group Record by LDS member). However, the Bishop's Transcript says John Elliot of Hartland. (Definitely) Marr 5 Feb 1763 at Kilkhampton to John BURNARD (ref IGI). Dorcas is mentioned with her married surname of Burnard in the Will of her father in 1765.	IGI records
4.		Samuel CORNISH Bap 21 Oct 1720 at Kilkhampton, Cornwall as Samuell (ref IGI & findmypast). Buried 27 Aug 1759 at Kilkhampton (ref Family Group Record by LDS member and findmypast). Ref Kilkhampton Bishop's Transcript: Buried 1759, Samuel Cornish the Younger, Husbandman, Aug 14th (different date from above). However, LDS tape 476219 (monumental inscriptions at Kilkhampton) has CORNISH, Grace, w of Samuel Cornish of Stibb. Burd. Jun 21, 1760 age 79; and also Samuel, s. of above Samuel and Grace, burd. August 27, 1759 age 39. It depends whether the Bishop's transcript or the monumental inscription or copy of it is more accurate.	IGI records
5.		Daniel CORNISH Born c1723. No baptism record found. Marr (1) 17 Nov 1743 at Kilkhampton, Cornwall of Daniel Cornish, H[usbandman] to Anne CHUKE (ref Phillimores in Cornwall OPC). Marr (2) 25 Jun 1758 at Holsworthy, Devon of Daniel Cornish to Mary CLEAVE (ref FamilySearch M05113-1, identification of Daniel according to Sheila Yeo 2011). Daniel is mentioned in the Will of his father in 1765.

Married 18 Jul 1750 at Kilkhampton to Mary ADAMS (ref IGI & findmypast). She was bap 4 Jun 1729 at Kilkhampton (ref IGI). She was daughter of John Adams and Elizabeth Bray (see Family Group Record in IGI for further information). Phillip's occupation was Labourer, Husbandman, and Yeoman (ref Bishop's Transcript). The spelling varied between Philip and Phillip. At the baptism of son Philip in 1759, Phillip was a husbandman (ref Cornwall OPC). Philip is mentioned in the Will of his father in 1765. Phillip buried 18 Jan 1797 at Kilkhampton (ref FGR). Mary buried 14 Apr 1797 at Kilkhampton (ref FGR). These records not found in findmypast.	IGI records
