1.   Phillip Cornish
Bap 24 Nov 1633 at Poughill, Cornwall (ref IGI and findmypast).
Married Elizabeth, surname unknown. Marriage is not found in Cornish records. She was born c1644 at Poughill (ref LDS member in IGI).
Other Ancestry Public Trees have her born 1640.
Phillip is listed as Blacksmith in burial of daughter Elizabeth in 1663 and burial of wife Elizabeth.
Elizabeth buried 25 Feb 1687/88, wife of Phillipp Cornish, Blacksmith (ref parish record on Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 106).

There is also another marriage in findmypast of a Phillipp Cornish on 17 Feb 1689/90 at Poughill to Philippa WEB, there is a burial 4 Jul 1706 at Poughill of Phillipe wife of Phillip Cornish (page 110); no more information found, and no children found. ASSUMPTION that this was a second marriage of Phillip Cornish.

Note that it is reported on the internet that the Cornishes were a long standing Cornwall family who had a descent from John Chammond of Launcells and were still using the name Chammond as a Christian name, part of a request in the last John Chammond's Will. (ref Yeo Society).

Marr 29 Nov 1679 at Poughill to Susanna WEEKS (ref findmypast, source Cornwall Family History Society transcription). She was born c1657 (ref B.Chapple).
Gideon Cornish & Susanna Weeks both of this parish were marryed November 29 1679 (ref parish record on Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 79).
There is some doubt about whether this is 29 or 20 as the Phillimore Transcript gives 20; a further check of the parish record may clarify this.		 IGI records

Father given as Phillip, no mother given, but his place confirmed by Chamond's Will.
Daniel married 19 Sep 1678 at Poughill to Alice MOYSE (ref findmypast).
Daniel was mentioned in Chamond's Will dated 18 Mar 1712/13 (see above).
Daniel buried 23 Apr 1729 at Poughill (ref findmypast & parish record on Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 112).
Cornwall OPC Database has 26 Apr 1729.

7.   Mary CORNISH

Mary was mentioned in Chamond's Will dated 18 Mar 1712/13 (see above): My sister Mary Cornish to be Exix.		 IGI records

Note that at the same time as this generation at Poughill, a Thomas Cornish married Honour Rundle, both of the parish, on 5 Feb 1679/80 (ref findmypast and parish record).
I have been unable to find Thomas' baptism in this parish or anywhere else in Cornwall.
They subsequently had children at Poughill: Elizabeth (bap 2 Aug 1682, buried 9 Aug 1682), Mary (bap 19 Oct 1683), Thomas (bap 28 Dec 1687),
Sampson (bap 18 Jan 1690), Margaret (bap May 1694), William (bap 31 Jan 1696), Honor (bap 1701; she married 14 Apr 1728 to James Yeo).
No doubt they had many descendants of the name of Cornish in the same area.

There is an obscure burial at Poughill in Mar 1730/31 of "Honl:" (ref findmypast "Honor" and parish record on Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 113).
This is listed as Honor Cornish, widow in Cornwall OPC.
There is also a burial in Poughill on 9 Nov 1748 of "Honl" (ref findmypast "Honor" and parish record on Family Search Record Collection for Poughill, page 115).
