There is an entry for Benjamin Summerset at Sudbury in the Suffolk Poll of 1790 (ref Ancestry UK Poll Books). 6.		Henry SOMMERSET Bap 12 Apr 1756 of Henry Sommerset at St Peters, Suffolk, son of Thomas & Elizabeth Sommerset (ref FamilySearch C03562-0). The following is probably this Henry's marriage rather than the one below, as his brother Dalton married in the same church: Marriage 9 Jan 1781 at Saint Mary Le Strand, Westminster, London of Henry SOMERSETT to Ann PARKER (ref FamilySearch M04289-1). "Henry Somersett of this Parish Batchelor and Ann Parker of this Parish Spinster were married in this Church by Banns this ninth day of January in the year 1781 by me Thomas Iliff, Curate. This marriage was solemnized between us Henry Somersett, the mark X of Ann Parker, in the presence of Thos Brougham, Elizth Downton" (ref fmp Westminster Marriages). It is possible that the following is the burial of Ann: Burial 12 Apr 1788 of Ann Sommersett at St James', Westminster (ref FamilySearch B03496-4). Probable burial of Henry 28 May 1814 at St Gregory, Sudbury, listed in index as Henry Summersed, aged 58, born c1756 (ref fmp, National Burial Index).
