Assume he fits here, along with sister Mary.

Presumably he married (1) Elizabeth surname unknown who was found with him in the 1841 census living with the widow and family of brother Richard Chapple, see below. Elizabeth was not born in Cornwall and the marriage is not in Cornwall OPC.

There had been a marriage on 6 Dec 1817 at St Columb Major of John Gummow otp to Mary WOON otp, witnesses Willm Woon & James Dennis (ref Cornwall OPC). John and Mary had a daughter Mary Ann bap 1818 who subsequently had a daughter Georgina Gummow bap 1842 who is probably the one mentioned in the 1851 census as granddaughter.

Born c1796, assumption that she fits here based on her age. On the other hand she might have been an incomer or an unidentified wife.

Burial 7 Dec 1863 at St Columb Major Cemetery of Mary Ann Chappell aged 67; in Unconsecrated Ground, grave 773, Fee 5s, burial reg. entry 16/313, from Graves Register (ref Cornwall OPC).

7.   Richard CHAPPLE
Bap 8 Jan 1800 at St Columb Major parish of Richard CHAPEL, son of Thos. and Mary (ref Cornwall OPC).

Marriage 5 Oct 1822 at St Enoder parish, Cornwall of Richard Chappel (sic) to Jane BULLOCK; Richard resided at St Enoder and was a Miner; Jane resided at St Enoder, dau of Hugh Bullock; witnesses were Hugh Bullock (father) [which does not match other records, he may have been an uncle] and Wm Rickard (ref Cornwall OPC). St Enoder is 11 miles from Polgooth which Thomas was residing at his marriage. On 16 Sep 1832, Hugh Bullock was buried at St. Enoder parish aged 74, residence Penhale (ref Cornwall OPC). On Jane's second marriage, she named her father as Edmund Bullock. Bap 24 Oct 1803 at St Enoder of Jenny (sic) Bullock, dau of Edmund & Mary (ref Cornwall OPC and FamilySearch).

Richard presumably died between 1834 and 1841, but not found in FreeBMD in Cornwall, and not found in Cornwall burials.
