The Banns had been read on 27 Jul, 3 Aug and 10 Aug at the parish of Hornsey Rise, Islington, between Sydney Gordon Robinson (B) of this parish and Ethel May BUCKERFIELD (S) of the parish of All Saints, Whetstone (ref Ancestry Marriages). No children are registered as being born in England. Sydney and Ethel migrated to Victoria, Australia where Sydney had the position of Postmaster at Smeaton. There was a sum of money left in the Will of Frances Little in 1943 to Sydney Gordon Robinson Postmaster of Smeaton and his two children Jean and Gwendoline May Robinson. Jean and Gwen were also named in the will of Edward Little in 1952, described as so-called nieces. Actually Sydney was a cousin once removed which does confirm the relationship on the tree. Death 1947 of Ethel May Robinson at Ballarat, Victoria, aged 56, dau of Henry Eden Buckerfield (Vic reg 17919). Cecil died 10 Jul 1948 at NSW, bur Mona Vale, NSW. Kitty died 18 Jan 1961, bur Mona Vale, NSW.
