Mary HEMSLEY born say c1792 had a son James Hemsly bap 15 Nov 1812 at Ringmer Sussex (ref IGI); he married as James Hemsley 13 Jun 1837 at Ringmer to Sarah TASKER, and the marriage claims his father was Henry Turner, and her was 23, Sarah 19 (ref IGI). They had the following children: Mary bap 30 Jul 1837 at Ringmer (see above), Sarah bap 22 Mar 1840 at Ringmer, Ann bap 13 Jun 1841 at Ringmer (see above), James bap 20 Aug 1843 at Ringmer, William bap 3 Jan 1847 at Ringmer, Henry bap 5 Nov 1848 at Ringmer, David bap 1 Jun 1851 at Ringmer, Mary bap 27 Feb 1853 at Street (all ref IGI). I have not been able to link Mary Hemsley to this tree but it is most likely she was related given that the children Mary and Ann were with Sarah (assuming this is the correct census record for our Sarah). =========================================================== Other census records not found.
