The perfectly plain long-waisted bodice, with long sleeves, was scalloped on to a full flared skirt which reached the ground. An antique veil of tulle (lent by Mrs A. W. Cummins) was arranged beneath a brow band of tulle, finished at each side with a tiny bunch of orange blossom, and fell in long folds to resemble a train and a bouquet of ivory blossom was carried. The bridesmaids were Miss Helen McQuie (sister of the bride) and Miss Elsa Cummins. Corresponding with the bridal gown were their frocks of ivory velvet, the skirt section being ornamented with georgette handkerchief draperies to match. Their veils of ivory tulle, with a scarf end, were ornamented with holly berries, and clusters of holly were carried. The best man was Mr. Geoffrey Adeney and the groomsman Mr. Jas. Coutts.
