2.		Alfred CHINERY Born 1875 at Geelong, Vic (Vic reg 23040). His birth was registered as CHINERY, son of unknown father and Annie Chinery. He took the name of WRIGHT.

2.		Samuel FARRELL Born 3 Mar 1878 at Carlton (Vic reg 1218). Listed in his father's DC 1878. World War I. 13th Australian Machine Gun Co. Listed age 57 in his mothers DC in 1935 (ref Mary's Death Cert). Not married. Played the saxophone, and was known to Ern Shade. Died Jan 1958, Carlton (Vic reg 856), buried 7 Jan 1958, Fawkner Crem. 3.		Lillian May (May) FARRELL Born 31 Aug 1880 at Yarra Street, Geelong, Victoria (Vic reg 16069 and 16069R and birth cert). There were two birth records, one as Farrell (birth reg 16069) and one as Chinery (16069R), both giving father unknown. (John Farrell had died in 1878.) The registration said 'not married' rather than 'widow' . Perhaps it was routine to register a birth in both possible surnames in a case where the father was not named. The nurse at the birth was Mrs Daniels (as for the birth of the later twins). Died 1888 at Carlton age 8 (Vic reg 12626); this record claims John Farrell as her father. 4.		David FARRELL Born 16 Sep 1882 at Yarra Street, Geelong (Vic reg 23258 and birth cert). The registration named the father as Abraham Farrell, Cabman, 32, born Geelong. There was an Abraham Farrell born 1851 Geelong which fits with the age of 32 given on this birth certificate. (The names of his parents to be followed up.) There was a marriage date on the certificate, 17th May 1879, presumably false, and May age 2 was listed (but not Sam who was still alive but with a different father). The nurse at the birth was again Mrs Daniels. Died 1883 at Geelong age 8 months (Vic reg 5240), listed as the son of John Farrell (her late husband) and Mary Chinery. Elder of twins. In the certificate the name of the father was blank; in the column for the marriage, the words '25th March 1875 Geelong, Samuel 6 years' have been written and crossed out. The name of the mother was Mary Farrell formerly Chinery, a widow 6 years, age 27 years. Marr 1907 at Geelong (Vic reg 5290) to William Munday TWIGG. William was born 1883 at Geelong (Vic reg 16861), died 31 Jul 1952 at Geelong (Vic reg 21020), and was a son of John Twigg and Emma Munday (ref Barb O'Brien). Victoria died in 1927 at Geelong age 46 (Vic reg 14465) with her father listed as Charles GALBERY and mother Elizabeth Beatrice Chinnery and her maiden name as Jones. No details for Charles Galbery could be found in the records.
